Anna K. Meyer, MD, FAAP, FACS is an Assistant Professor of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery and Director of Medical Student Education in the UCSF Department of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery. She received her medical degree from UCSF, completed her internship and residency at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor and her fellowship in Pediatric Otolaryngology at Lurie Children’s Hospital, Chicago.

Dr Ryan Laponis is a clinician-educator in the Division of General Internal Medicine (DGIM) at University of California San Francisco (UCSF). He provides adult primary care for a panel of patients at the Mt Zion General Medicine Clinic and serves as a preceptor at that site for both primary care and categorical internal medicine residents. He serves as the Assistant Program Director for the UCSF Internal Medicine Residency Primary Care Track and is the Co-Site Director for Educational Activities at the Mt Zion General Medicine Clinic.

In addition to her commitment to the UCSF PRIDE organization, Nina co-organizes and leads the Dermatology Department in enhancing the patient experience. She has organized and led efforts focused on service excellence with in the Department, including a recent retreat aimed at enhancing service culture. These efforts have led to a department-wide commitment to ongoing patient experience improvement initiatives and the development of sub-committees focused on various aspects of enhanced care delivery.

Diane Sliwka, MD is Associate Professor of Medicine in the Division of Hospital Medicine at the University of California San Francisco Medical Center. In her role as Medical Director of the Patient and Provider Experience for UCSF Medical Center, she has led physician engagement efforts organizationally since late 2012, and locally in the Division of Hospital Medicine since 2008.
